Project Update: Working with older hard of hearing residents to build social connection
We recently kicked off a new project with Newham Council working with older hard of hearing residents who live in sheltered housing. We’re currently identifying potential sites for the work and will be working closely with residents to co-design activities and projects to build their social connection.
Using a participatory approach, we will support residents to shape and lead initiatives that matter to them. The first phase includes interviews and group sessions where we discuss residents’ lives and hearing loss to better understand their experiences and needs.
